• Version 1.6 - Flood Tide Notifications (2026-09-28) — Version 1.6 adds the ability to set a configuration on tide height. What this means is that you can forecast out those big flood tide days a little bit easier.
• 1.5: River Gauges (2026-08-26) — Every operational USGS river gauge is now on Big Buoy — free for every user, saveable to your spots, and searchable. Live stage, flow, and water conditions for rivers across the country.
• New Feature: Cloud Cover (2026-08-17) — A free cloud cover overlay is now on the Big Buoy map — added with the Chesapeake's cobia fishery in mind. It's new, we're refining it, and we want your feedback.
• Introducing 1.4: The Wind Tab (2026-08-05) — Version 1.4 is here — the new Wind Tab with model deviation, Great Lakes water level support, a rebuilt wind overlay, and charts that finally feel right under your thumb.
• Version 1.3 — The Depth Chart (2026-07-22) — Why Big Buoy had to have a depth chart — go from scouring contours to pulling live conditions at that spot. First pass shipped in 1.3, refinements rolling in.
• We Added an Arcade (2026-06-25) — How a 404-page easter egg became the Big Buoy Arcade — leaderboards, 18,000+ fish caught, and Parker's World, drawn by a 7-year-old.
